In my work I use alot of motifs and designs that i pull from my Indian background. One will find henna designs, sari designs and traditional geometric patterns. The use of lines and geometric shapes is predominant in my work. They represent restrictions that are often imposed by either society, parents or even self imposed. The free hand designs almost always break free of these lines, hopefully mirroring my personality and approach to life.

Often I have a number of copies of the same theme, but each differs from another. Very few of these works are actually on canvas, infact very little of any of my art is on canvas.

The border that is displayed on each page is infact a self portrait that is in it's 7th stage. It is one of the few works i have put to canvas, but being me, the canvas version is vastly different from this one. I do alot of computer art, and one of the versions of the self portarait has been drawn on the computer.
